About the Data Engineer role

Our product runs on data: places, routes, schedules, articles and embeddings. You will build the pipelines that collect, clean and load it. This is hands-on work with real production databases from the start.

DelhiGPT is an AI startup that is scaling fast, and we are building a team of freshers who want to grow with it. This is a full time, 0-1 year experience job. You can work remotely from anywhere in India or from Bangalore. We are open to negotiating the salary for the right talent.

What you will do

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines and scrapers
• Design clean database schemas and indexes
• Load, verify and refresh large datasets safely
• Monitor data quality and fix broken jobs
• Keep database cost and query time low

What we are looking for

• Strong SQL and a good grip on Python
• Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL
• Basics of APIs, JSON and file formats
• Familiarity with Git and the command line
• Care about correctness and repeatable scripts
