About the Software Engineer role

You will ship real features from your first month: chat experiences, search, maps and data pipelines behind DelhiGPT. We pair you with senior engineers, review your code properly and give you ownership early. If you finished a degree or bootcamp recently and want to learn how a fast product company really builds software, this is the role.

DelhiGPT is an AI startup that is scaling fast, and we are building a team of freshers who want to grow with it. This is a full time, 0-1 year experience job. You can work remotely from anywhere in India or from Bangalore. We are open to negotiating the salary for the right talent.

What you will do

• Build and ship product features in TypeScript, React and Next.js
• Write clean, tested code and take part in code reviews
• Fix bugs, improve page speed and keep the product reliable
• Work with designers and product on small weekly releases
• Learn system design by working on real traffic and real data

What we are looking for

• Strong basics in data structures and algorithms
• Comfortable in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python or Java
• Understanding of APIs, databases and Git
• A project, internship or open source work you can show
• Clear communication and a habit of finishing things
